In 2001, he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Pennsylvania, one of the prestigious Ivy League universities in the United States, with a focus on antitrust, corporate, and intellectual property law.
With over 20 years of experience, he has specialized in commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust legal advisory, and legal leadership in highly regulated markets such as pharmaceuticals and electricity, bringing a commercially sound and practical perspective to these sectors.
He was part of the legal department at Transelec in Chile and served as regional legal director for Pfizer for over 13 years, providing legal advice and guidance to Chile, Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador, and was the main point of contact for Pfizer's Legal Department in Brazil in 2022-2023.
He has been recognized in "The Legal 500" GC Powerlist for Chile in 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and in the GC Powerlist for Peru in 2020, as one of the most influential and innovative legal directors in these markets.
